Kiaguthu coffee is a unique offering from the Othaya Farmer’s Cooperative Society nestled in the Aberdare mountain range in Nyeri county. Established in the 1950s and officially registered in 1956, it's among Kenya's largest farmer-owned cooperatives, proudly holding Fairtrade certification. With 17 wet mills, the cooperative processes coffee from 11,000 small-scale farmers, fostering a legacy of collaboration and commitment to quality since its mid-20th-century inception.
